We find God calling us where our great joy meets the world’s great need, says theologian Frederick Buechner. At CUCC we strive to share our passions, skills, and strengths in service to Canterbury neighbors and the world. Much of our service aims to build bridges and bring people together. CUCC members and friends serve on church and town committees that interest them, and they also work together to embody God’s love in the world. Here are some of our current service ministries.

- The Friendly Meals Freezer and distributing meals to others
- The Canterbury Whole Child Center All-Community Suppers (Easter, Thanksgiving, Spaghetti Dinners)
- Neighbors in Need and Church World Service Offerings
- Canterbury Benevolence Society
- Santa gifts for children in need
- The Loudon Food Pantry and Concord Region Food Program
- The annual Canterbury Fair and the Canterbury Fund
- Community Concerts and Dances
