Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. The method of communion alternates between intinction and the deacons serving communion in the pews. This alternation provides opportunity for a wider range of experience while sharing together at Christ’s table. We practice an open Communion–open to all who seek to join together during worship to receive what Christ has to offer to our spirits through this symbolic and powerful meal.
Communion is also served at a special Holy Week Service on Maundy Thursday. This service is often described as one of our most meaningful gatherings during the year.
