Sara Rossigg

Interim Pastor, 2017-2022

Pastor Sara accomplished her mission at CUCC– in very difficult times. Her work was as full-time Interim Pastor to Canterbury, providing a healing transition from the former pastor, and guiding the Pastoral Search Committee to discern the expectations and needs of the congregation and community (practical, spiritual, now and in the future). In pandemic times Sara led the ringing of the bell in the Center every evening through the early months of COVID-19, in support of the healthcare workers who risked their lives before vaccines became available. She launched a weekly podcast to bring Sunday services to us when the church was in lockdown, and then helped us transition to summer outdoor services and in the fall to masked/distanced services indoors. We were (and continue to be) grateful for her caring, quiet leadership. Thank you, Pastor Sara!
