Welcoming and open to all people

Canterbury United Community Church is a welcoming, open, and affirming faith
community of people of diverse backgrounds. We covenant to support one another as we grow in the love of God and service to our neighbor and the stranger. No matter who your people are, whom you love, or where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here!

We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the American Baptist Church (USA) coalition of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists.

Worship and Fellowship Schedule

Join us for worship every Sunday from 10am-11am.

Open fellowship is every Sunday starting at 11am, and is open to all, even if you choose not to attend worship.

Drop-in for Stillness in the Center on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the sanctuary for quiet candlelight, prayer, and meditation.

Love of God in action is being kind and caring for others.

We are a community of open, engaged members, supportive of one another’s faith journeys, and seeking to better live our faith. Let us introduce you to our history and our values.

Individual

CUCC seeks to deepen individuals’ faith and understanding through dialogue, service, compassion, and joy.

Community

We share joys and burdens in worship and reach into our community with programs and visiting younger and older residents.

World

We share our resources with our neighbors in Canterbury and our neighbors around the world.

Through our joyful worship and service, we strive to express and embody the steadfast love of God for all people.
